Accessibility

We want cigcount.com to work with a keyboard, with a screen reader and at any text size.

Our goal

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, in light and dark mode and in English and Spanish.

What we test

Every page goes through an automated axe-core check in both themes. We also test that everything can be used with the keyboard alone, that focus is always visible, that text contrast is at least 4.5:1, and that there is no horizontal scrolling at 200% zoom or at 320 px wide.

A screen reader review (VoiceOver on iPhone and TalkBack on Android) is part of the review before each release.

Known limitations

To block spam, the launch notice form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare provides the challenge and we don’t control it; it is almost always invisible.

The app preview on the page is a drawing with sample data and is announced as a single image.
